The Consumer Reports suggested that the ATS has a performance and styling to be admired, but it is not without its drawbacks. The car’s gruff engine with limited power, cramped seat size for passengers of various sizes/body types (especially if they are taller), difficult entry into the vehicle due to low seats concerning ground clearance, confusing controls all contribute factors that could have been improved before releasing this model.
It scored below average on JD Power studies as well – Initial Quality Dependability Design Performance- so consumers should take these ratings seriously when considering purchasing one themselves
