The display screen feature of the Hyundai Palisade is made to allow car owners access to a lot of music, entertainment, and other similar features when using their car. However, in the market, you will come across many Palisade models with broken screens, but what is it that can be causing this problem? What are the possible solutions? In this article, we will discuss how to fix a Hyundai Palisade screen not working.

Make sure it has been properly updated

The first thing you need to do is to make sure that your car’s screen has been properly updated.  Go to the Set-Up section, which may be found in the main menu. Next, click on System Info and follow with Update. When it becomes available for you to update your touchscreen display, you can start the update at this time.

Be sure to follow all the onscreen instructions given below in order to ensure that the update is properly installed. If you are having doubts or questions regarding the software update that you have seen on your Palisade or your navigation system, call your local Hyundai dealer and ask them directly.

Reset it to the factory settings

You may also want to reset your touchscreen center display to the factory settings if it keeps responding to your screen but frequently has issues. Go to “System Info” and click on “Reset”. You will be prompted to enter the password when the reset is complete.

Please note that the menus and display screens are different from one model to another. It is often only possible to perform a factory reset only if your touchscreen is still operational. This may also be a temporary solution to a bigger problem.

Reset it manually

If you are still not able to update your touchscreen and reset it to the factory settings using the previous steps, you might need to reset it manually. Fortunately, this is quite simple to do.

The center touchscreen screen on your Hyundai Palisade should have a reset button so that you can get out of the issues like this. The reset button is located on the passenger side, near the screen that displays information. When your screen becomes frozen or unresponsive, the best first step is to use this reset button.

Call the dealership

If none of the previous steps help, one last thing you might want to do is to call your local Hyundai dealer and ask them directly. They can take a look at your screen and see if there is anything that can be done to fix it. If you’re taking it to a mechanic, it’s always best to go to one that is familiar with electric cars or the Hyundai brand in general. That way, you know they are taking care of your car properly.
