However, the one problem that many owners have had with their Rogue is that the volume isn’t working properly.

So, how do you fix it? Here are some simple steps to take when your volume isn’t working properly on your Nissan Rogue.

Symptoms

The signs that your Nissan Rogue volume is not working properly include a low or missing radio volume, when you turn the radio on, it plays at a low volume.

Causes

If your Nissan Rogue is not playing any sound at all, then you may have a faulty speaker or an issue with the stereo. You can check the most common problems below.

Faulty Speaker – The speaker can be damaged if there is a lot of pressure on it and the wire inside of it is exposed to water. If this happens, then it will not be able to play any sound and will simply stay silent.

To fix this, you will need to take apart your entire car and clean out all of the dirt and debris from the inside of your speaker before putting everything back together again.

It’s also possible that there may be a loose connection inside of your speaker which will need to be fixed as well.

Broken Wire – If your wire is broken, then it won’t be able to send any sound signals through it to make sure that the speakers are working properly. To fix this, you will need to replace the broken wire in your speaker assembly.

Damaged Speaker Assembly – If there is something wrong with your speakers or speaker assembly, then they won’t be able to send any sound signals through them and therefore won’t work at all. To fix this, you will need to replace the entire speaker assembly.

Procedures

Here are some simple steps that you can take to fix your car’s radio volume on Nissan Rogue:

Open the glove box of your car and find the radio control panel. Use a flathead screwdriver to pry it open so that you can access the interior of the radio control panel. You should be able to see a small, round black switch with two buttons next to it.

If you are having problems with the volume on your radio, then it is likely that this switch is not working correctly. Press down on this switch and watch what happens.

If nothing happens, then you will need to replace this part for your car’s radio volume to work again.
