This can be a problem if you are trying to connect your phone to the car and it won’t work at all. So, how do you fix it? Here are some simple steps to take when your Bluetooth isn’t working properly on your Nissan Sentra.

Symptoms

Your Nissan Sentra’s Bluetooth is not working. The Bluetooth symbol is on the dash, but you cannot make or receive calls through it. The phone book on your phone shows the phone can pair with your car, but it cannot make or receive calls.

Causes

This is a very common problem with Nissan Sentra models, and the problem usually occurs when the Sentra’s Bluetooth module has been disconnected or has become disconnected from the car’s radio.

This will make it so that your Sentra will not be able to pair with any other Bluetooth devices, and you will not be able to connect to your phone via Bluetooth either.

The solution for this problem is to make sure that you reconnect your Bluetooth module back into your car, and then make sure that you connect it back up properly into the port on your car’s dashboard.

Other causes for this problem can include a damaged Bluetooth antenna on the inside of your car, a damaged connection between the Bluetooth module and your phone, or even an electrical short in between these two components.

If this is the case, then you will need to replace your Bluetooth module as well as replace or repair whatever part of your car may have caused the electrical short in between these two components.

Procedures

The Nissan Sentra was released in 1982 and since then it has had many issues that have come up with it. Some of the most common problems that you will find on Sentra are its Bluetooth problems. There are several ways to fix this problem, but one of the most common is by resetting your car’s Bluetooth system.

To do this, you will need to take off your steering wheel and then your glove box. After doing this, make sure that you turn off your car and remove the key from the ignition.

Then press and hold down both the unlock button on your key fob and then push once on the central locking button located on your dashboard.

Once you have done this, take out any metal objects from under your steering wheel and then try to turn on your car again. If it does not work, then restart the process again until it works properly.
