1970 Datsun Skyline

After films like “Fast and Furious” and games like “Need for Speed: Underground,” the Nissan sports automobile, which had previously been regarded as one of the greatest Japanese vehicles, gained new credibility. It wasn’t always a Nissan, though. Datsun first conceived of the notion.

Datsun’s original 1963 models, the R120 and the 260Z are the two most essential classics of Japanese vehicles because of the high demand they have for both value and appreciation. Of course, the Hakosuka laid the groundwork for the renowned R30, which in turn earned the Hakosuka a spot in car folklore.

The Skyline engine is a 2.0L straight six-cylinder that generates 160 horsepower. The size of the vehicle is surprising, considering how advanced it is. A Skyline GTR with its original engine can be purchased for $235,000 or more. This European classic car may be bought for $20,000.
