But there are some common problems that have arisen related to the electric car. For example, some owners have come across the issue of their sound system not working. A sound system that refuses to work can be an unfortunate thing, as any car owner would want to be able to take full advantage of their sound and infotainment system.

Here are some possible issues and solutions you should consider:

Cleaning of the speaker terminals

It is important to clean the terminals of your speaker to prevent dirt from building up and interfering with your speakers’ ability to produce sound. If you have connected the wires correctly, you may try using a wire brush or other cleaning tools on them to clean them up and eliminate any obstructions that may be preventing your speakers from working properly.

Check whether your speakers are defective or not

If cleaning does not help, you can also try testing whether your speakers are faulty or not by connecting them directly into an audio device. If it does not work then, you should go for replacing it immediately as it is likely that there is something wrong with it, such as defective parts or a broken wire.

Reset the system

If you have tried all of the above solutions and your speakers are still not working, then you can try resetting the system. There is a small pinhole size reset button that you can use with a ballpoint pen or a paper clip to push on the right side of the Power and Volume buttons.

Press the button for a couple of seconds for the sound system to reset. Then try to operate the sound again. However, you should also be aware that if you do this, you may lose your radio presets and other things like that.

Update software

If none of these solutions have worked, then you should update your system’s software to ensure that there are no errors in it. This is important as some problems may be caused by incorrect or out-of-date software, which can cause a malfunction with your speakers.

To update your system’s software, you will need to connect your car to a computer via a USB cable that is connected to its port in order to download the latest version of the software onto it. You will also need to restart your car after updating it in order for the changes to take effect and solve any problems with your sound system.

Bring it to an expert

If you have tried all of the above solutions and your speakers are still not working, then you should bring it to an expert. You may want to consider bringing it to a Hyundai dealer or a mechanic who can diagnose the problem and repair it.
