Faulty Power Cord – The power cord is located under the hood of your car and can become damaged if there is too much weight on it or if it’s exposed to too much heat or cold. To fix this, you will need to replace the power cord.

Electrical Wiring Problem – If you are having problems with the wiring in your vehicle, your camera will not work. It is very common for older cars to have this problem. It can be caused by many different things such as an electrical short or a faulty fuse.

It is important that you completely dismantle your car so that you can check all of the wirings inside the car for any damage that may have occurred over time.

You may also want to get an inspection from a mechanic as well if you have any questions about what is wrong with your car.

Procedures

Here are some simple steps that you can take to fix the camera on your Nissan Rogue:

Locate the unit that controls the camera. This is usually located on the driver’s side of the vehicle, under the windshield. Remove any screws holding the cover in place.

There should be a panel that covers up wires and other things inside of it. Unplug any cables that are plugged into this unit and remove them from their connectors.

Use a screwdriver to open up the panel inside of it and check for any debris or dirt inside of it, then clean it out with a vacuum or by blowing it out with compressed air.

If there is any damage to the wiring inside of this unit, then repair it before putting everything back together again by cutting off any damaged parts and splicing in new ones.

Check for any burnt wires inside of this unit as well, if there are any, cut them off with a pair of scissors and discard them before putting everything back together again. Put everything back together again and turn on your car’s power once more to see if your camera works now.
