Issues with brakes occurred within a range of 0 to 15,000 miles on the 2020 Accord. Once, an owner got out of the emergency braking system by pressing harder on the accelerator pedal, saving them from an accident.

This was said to have resulted in various systems of the car malfunctioning like the windshield wipers and defroster, a rearview camera, some exterior lights, and power windows. Honda’s dealers then updated the BCM software, free of charge.
